He originates from Romania, but finished the school inSala,Slovakia.His first goal keeper's touches experienced in the village Diakovce and when became to Bratislava (school), he anchored in SK Slovan Bratislava.
         His first matches as a goal keeper played in the time, when there still shone Viliam Schroif's star. Was a member of Czechoslovak national team, which became  European champion 1976 (Yugoslavia).
         Represented 25 times. After a misfortuned WC 1978 qualifier against Wales in Wrexham (0 : 3), he left representation and SK Slovan Bratislava as well and became a player of Plastika (currently) FC Nitra.
