Jan KOZAK

        Born in village Matejovce. With football started as 14 years old in
junior team of Spisska Nova Ves. As 18 years old started to play in A team.
In 1974 went to Lokomotiva Kosice and next year team was promoted to the
Czechoslovak Premier league.
        Type of offensive midfielder with smell for goals and final passing to
teammates. Excellent in play with head.
        Member of Czechoslovak national team, which finished 3-rd in EURO
1980. In 1981 became a Czechoslovak player of the year.
        Before 1981 represented Czechoslovakia 38 times and scored 4 goals.
In Premier league before 1981 played 148 matches and scored 35 goals.
